My path to a barefoot shoe lifestyle started with severe Achilles tendonitis in both feet. After a lot of unsuccessful PT I was introduced to an MAT specialist who, on her way to curing my tendonitis, introduced me to the concept of barefoot living. The simple idea of allowing my feet to work the way they were built to work made so much sense, I immediately purchased my first pair. It was a pretty easy transition, and I feel so good about what I'm doing for my feet and body.
